THE Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has issued Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 124-2019, extending the deadline for submitting the Annual Information Returns of Income Taxes Withheld on Compensation (BIR Form No. 1604-C) and Final Withholding Taxes (BIR Form No. 1604-F) from Jan. 31, 2020 to Feb. 28, 2020.
The extension also covers the submission of the Alphabetical Lists (Alphalists) of Employees and Payees from Whom Taxes Were Withheld, which are mandatory attachments to BIR Forms No. 1604-C and 1604-F. The alphalists will be prepared and validated through Version 6.1 of the Alphalist Data Entry and Validation Module.
Last July 24, 2019, the BIR issued RMC No. 73-2019, separating the Annual Information Return of Income Taxes Withheld on Compensation and Final Withholding Taxes (BIR Form 1604-CF) into BIR Forms No. 1604-C and 1604-F.
