MABALACAT CITY – Local officials in Concepcion, Tarlac expressed gratitude to the World Medical Relief Incorporated (WMRI) for donating various medical equipment to the municipal government.
The Municipal Council, headed by Owen Baluyut, passed Resolution Number 085-19, “conferring recognition and expressing profound gratitude to the WMRI”, headed by Dr. George Samson, for the donation of various medical equipment to the Municipality of Concepcion, Province of Tarlac.
The local officials stated in the resolution that the WMRI is an international philanthropic organization engaged in providing people in developing countries with medical and pharmaceutical needs.
“Through the support and assistance of Dr. George Samson, the municipality of Concepcion is one of the beneficiaries/donees of various medical equipment,” the resolution stated.
A separate resolution was passed by the municipal council recognizing Dr Irineo Alvaro Jr, chairman of the Clark Investors and Locators Association (CILA) and president of the Midori Hotel and Casino.
The town officials lauded and thanked Alvaro supporting the Philippine delegation to the 66th Anniversary Gala of World Medical Relief Incorporated held in Detroit, Michigan on November 4, 2019.

A delegation from the Philippines, led by Alvaro and Concepcion Mayor Andy Lacson, attended the WMRI’s anniversary celebration.
“Dr. Irineo ‘Bong’ Alvaro, Jr. provided support and assistance to the Philippine delegation during the said event, the second resolution stated.
