Official asks media to continue vigilance

MABALACAT CITY -- Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) president Vince Dizon has asked members of the media to continue vigilance in government.

Dizon said the government and the public officials need a vigilant media for a transparent and accountable governance.

The media played an important role that contributed to the success of the recently-concluded Asean Games, according to the official.

“All of these would not have been possible without the support of everyone including the media but I really ask you to please continue your vigilance, continue to put ax on our toes because we need that from you,” Dizon said.

The BCDA chief at the same time announced the opening of the new Clark International Airport terminal next year.

“Next year will be another milestone. We promise that by the second half of next year, we will be opening the best airport in the country in Clark,” Dizon.

The new Clark airport terminal is big and modern, something that the people of Pampanga can be proud of, the official highlighted.

“Believe me, it will be the best airport in the country and it will be another proud moment for us Kapampangans.”

“The government expects more than four billion passengers once the new passenger terminal is completed,” Dizon said.
