POSITIBO ang paglantaw ni Misamis Oriental Governor Bambi Emano sa martial law sukad nga gideklarar kini ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte niadtong Mayo 23, 2017 nga gitapos niini niadtong Disyembre 31, 2019.
Matud ni Emano nga dihang gideklarar kini kaniadto sa Presidente daghan sa katawhan ang nabalaka ug nahadlok.

“At midnight (Tuesday), the martial law in Mindanao will end after two years and seven months or 953 days of effectivity,” kini ang pahibalo ni Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana niadtong Martes.
“Upon the recommendation of the security sector, the President has decided to allow martial law to lapse and not ask for another extension anymore.” dugang sa statement niini.
