JEREMY Pacatiw made a strong statement after stopping a former title contender.

The Team Lakay fighter proved too much against Felipe Efrain knocking him out with 1:10 remaining in the second round in the co-main event of Brave Combat Federation’s (CF) event held in Saudi Arabia December 30, 2019.

Coming off a controversial unanimous decision loss in his last outing in November, Pacatiw made sure there will be no judges this time as he immediately went on for the jugular.

It was Pacatiw’s biggest victory in Brave CF, who improved to 6 – 4, after stopping one of the top contenders in the bantamweight division which is held by his fellow Team Lakay fighter Stephen Loman.

Efrain challenged Loman in Brave CF 18 and nearly submitted the defending champion in their bout.

The win marked Pacatiw’s second knockout victory for BRAVE CF and the first one since August of 2017, when he beat another Brazilian, Thiago dela Coleta, back at BRAVE CF 8, in Curitiba, Brazil.

The victory was also important for his fellow Filipino fans, since the country had gone 0-2 in the night after Team Lakay’s Harold Banario lost to Gamzat Magomedov, while Rolando Dy was defeated by Anzor Abdulkhozaev.

Pacatiw also made history in Brave CF, becoming the first fighter to have 10 bouts in Bahrain based MMA promotion.

Brave CF 33’s main event ended in victory for Russia, as Ikram Aliskerov had a successful return to middleweight by stopping a tough Diego Gonzalez with strikes in the third round, as Brave Combat Federation’s final event of the year had in total five KO’s, four submissions and only two decisions.
