AMCOD kicked off its title bid in the Cebu Amateur Basketball League Season 3 in style as it buried the Jaguars, 110-53, at the Visayan Glass gym on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020.
In other games, the Junkies took down the SCYO, 64-57, even as Dallas nipped the Sarhentos, 76-72. The Air22 also emerged victorious over the De Lasing Panthers, 96-75, while Mags Lechon blasted the Rebels, 94-64. The Batang Pound also came away with an 89-65 win over the Papa Balls.
In all, 32 teams are competing in this tournament that gives an avenue for Cebu’s finest amateur players to showcase their basketball skills. Cash prizes, trophies and medals are to be given to the champion team and the runners-up.
