ILOILO City Government's income-generating facilities mostly from markets posted an increased overall collection of P3 million, from P71 million in 2018 to P74 million in 2019.
Local Economic Enterprise Office's (LEEO) highest collection of P7.3 million was recorded in December.
Monthly collections posted highest increase of 10 percent during the months of September and November last year, reaching to an average of P6 million from P5 million a month during the previous year.
Mayor Jerry Treñas said the higher collection resulted from intensified efforts of market supervisors in collecting necessary fees in city public markets, slaughterhouse and bus terminal. (PR)
