MABALACAT City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo recently led the distribution of P500,000 worth of financial assistance to some 78 indigents.
About 34 beneficiaries received cash assistance of as much as P10,000.
Meanwhile, another 44 indigent Mabalaqueños availed of financial assistance from the City Government.
Garbo was accompanied by City Councilor Carlo Dizon, chairman of the Urban Poor Committee, in distributing the financial assistance.
The mayor, since his first day in office this 2020, has been pursuing his goal to continuously help Mabalalaqueños who are in need.
According to Garbo, giving financial assistance is part of the “MCG 2020 Vision Cash Aid Program.”
