WITH the continuous boom of the real estate in Davao City, it is not only in the downtown area that the boom is felt. There are already a number of developments in the southern and the northern portions of the city.

Avani Residences is a 10-hectare residential property in the heart of Mintal specifically just a few kilometers from the University of Southern Philippines Mintal Campus and the University of the Philippines Mindanao.
According to Golden 8 chief executive officer Dilip Budhrani, the development will be divided into three different phases with 183 units for the first phase, 131 units for the second phase, and 97 units for the third phase.
On October 17, 2019, a few days after their license to sell was approved, Avani Residences broke ground.
At present, the first phase already sold about 100 units already which they target to be sold out by the end of this month. Target schedule for turnover of the units will be in 2021.

Aside from this, commercial establishments will also be put up in the commercial strips of Avani.
“Our main goal is to give them a home they wanna come back to and they’ll be proud of,” said Budhrani.
He went on to add that their development prioritizes value for money with their additional features such as semi-underground cabling, furnished homes, and architectural and interior designs that had been meticulously-decided.

Golden 8 Construction and Development Corporation is not only determined to bringing quality residential units for Dabawenyos. They plan to do this awarding annually and semi-annually. The awardees were given golden peacock awards that were flown straight from India. According to Budhrani, peacock is the national bird of India which signifies grace.
