A MALL in the Municipality of Consolacion, Cebu gave tribute to the modern-day heroes by celebrating their relentless efforts to be of service to the community they serve.
SM City Consolacion made the tribute in honor of the Philippine National Police (PNP) officers. The celebration, which was a first for the mall, was dubbed as “Salutations: A Day of Service.” It was held on Nov. 24, 2019, at the mall’s Event Centre. The activity was attended by 130 police officers. The Girl Scouts greeted them. Also held was the photo exhibit that showcased the police officers’ activities. The exhibit was coordinated with the Regional Training Center 7 and Consolacion Police Station.
The tribute was capped off with games and special performances, and thank-you cards were given to the police officers. (S)
