THE ARQ Builders won their sixth game in a row after defeating Crown Regency, 67-46, in the Duterte Basketball League at the Capitol Parish Gym last Sunday, January 12, 2020.
ARQ unleashed a balanced attack that totally overwhelmed their opponents to help them snatch the win and remain undefeated in this competition. Anthony Madrazo led the way for ARQ with 10 points and seven rebounds while Jesus Saga added nine markers, two boards and two steals.
The loss dropped Crown Regency further down the standings at 1-5 (win-loss).
In other games, the SMCCO routed the XSembros, 61-44, for their fifth victory in six games. Sinji Pananganan led the way for SMCCO with 18 points while Vince Burlaos was just as effective with his 17 markers. The XSembros plunged down to 0-6 and remain as the only team without a victory.
The Top Pythons also evened up their record at 3-3 after edging the BJMP, 72-70. Lukas Dugenio paced the winning side with 25 points while Mark Almacin added 20 points, two rebounds, three assists and two steals. BJMP fell to 4-2. (JNP)
