POLICE arrested a 21-year-old suspected rapist in Matag-ob, Leyte on January 13, 2020.
Ronie Aras, laborer and top 7 most wanted person in Matag-ob, was nabbed by local police headed by Lieutenant Elizabeth Lubiano at around 2:30 p.m. Monday at Sitio Milagrosa, Barangay Balagtas of the said town.
The warrant of arrested dated September 10, 2019, for alleged rape, was issued by Honorable Girlie Borrel-Yu, presiding judge, Branch 35, Regional Trial Court (RTC) in Ormoc City.
No bail was recommended to the accused.
Aras was brought at Matag-ob Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to court of origin. (SunStar Philippines)
