SunStar Cebu dances to the beat of Sinulog

SUNSTAR Cebu along with its partners will bring to people from across the globe the Sinulog 2020 festival experience just a finger tap away.

The SunStar Sinulog 2020 coverage with Primary Homes, Filipino Homes, PLDT, and Smart will deliver real-time updates of the country’s most colorful festival.

SunStar’s Integrated Newsroom will tell netizens all they need to know about the religious and cultural activities of Sinulog 2020. Since 2010, SunStar Cebu has covered the Sinulog activities via livestreaming on its online platform, bringing the Sinulog fever anywhere in the world.

Not being in Cebu nor having the time to physically attend the activities has ceased to become problems for Sinulog watchers.

A decade and several technological advancements later, SunStar still delivers real-time stories in the most accessible way possible via livestreaming on Facebook and YouTube.

SunStar has livestreamed the Sinulog Novena since January 9 on its Facebook pages.

Sinulog sa Lalawigan and Sinulog Tribu sa Kabataan (formerly Sinulog sa Barangay) were broadcast on SunStar’s YouTube channel.

A live coverage of the Walk with Mary will be aired at dawn of Jan. 17, Friday to be followed by the annual Traslacion at 7 a.m.

The fluvial procession and the solemn grand procession will be covered live on Jan. 18.

On Sinulog day, Jan. 19, live updates from the parade route and the main stage at the Cebu City Sports Center will be aired as well.

The SunStar Cebu team will roam the city to deliver relevant news stories on screen as they happen. (RGT, MVG)
