Japan’s outstanding craftsmanship meets Germany’s impeccable design in Toyota’s newest iteration of its sports coupe, the GR Supra.
The fifth generation of this model is a well-executed collaboration between two automobile powerhouses, Toyota and BMW. The Japanese manufacturer partners with the German company for an update of this iconic vehicle.
Under the hood of this powerhouse is a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine boosted with a twin-scroll turbocharged system. The car also has cruise control, integrated sport drive, electric-assist power steering, back monitor and electric parking brake.
Comfort is key in the Supra. Dual-zone push-type climate controls enable the driver and passenger to control the temperature of the air conditioning as they like, while an 8.8-inch TFT display with USB and Bluetooth connectivity lets you listen to your playlist, and in great quality to boot, with the JBL 12-speaker HiFi surround sound system.
The driver will have control over several features of the car literally at his or her fingertips as the leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel comes with paddle shifters, manual tilt and telescopic adjust functions as well as audio and cruise controls.
For the driver’s peace of mind, the car comes with a solid set of safety features such as airbags, vehicle stability control, Anti-Lock Braking System, traction control and three-point seatbelts. Of course, as with all Toyota vehicles, it also has the standard security system and wireless door locking.
One can choose from eight classic colors: Prominence Red, White Metallic, Black Metallic, Lightning Yellow, Silver Metallic, Ice Gray Metallic, Deep Blue Metallic and the most exclusive Matte Storm Gray, produced in limited quantities.
