3 persons cheat death in Bukidnon stabbing incidents

THREE men survived after they were stabbed in separate incidents in Bukidnon.

The Malaybalay City police are hunting down a 70-year-old man identified as Florencio Pador, after he allegedly stabbed Richard Revilla, 30, a resident of Barangay Casisang, on Sunday, January 19.

Prior to the incident, the victim and the suspect were seen having a drinking session.

Police said the two figured in a heated altercation that led to the stabbing.

The victim sustained a lone stab wound on his left chest.

Members of the Malaybalay City police also responded to a stabbing incident in Barangay 5 around 2 a.m. Monday, January 20.

The victim was identified as Albert Okit, 19, a resident of Barangay Kalasungay.

Investigation revealed that the victim, while walking alone, was attacked and stabbed by an unidentified man.

The victim sustained a lone stab wound on his left back and was rushed to the hospital.

Investigators are eyeing personal grudge as motive in the incident.

Meanwhile, the Pangantucan town police arrested Donard Adriacin, 23, a farm worker who was accused of stabbing Ryan Ranoco, in Poblacion, Pangantucan town past midnight Monday, January 20.

Police said the victim and the suspect, including other companions, were having a drinking spree before the incident happened.

While on their way home, the two figured in a heated altercation that resulted in a fistfight.

Investigators said the suspect drew his hunting knife and stabbed the victim on the neck, waist and shoulder.

All victims are receiving treatment at the different hospitals while authorities are preparing the charges to be filed against the suspects.
