5 wanted persons nabbed in Benguet

FIVE top most wanted persons (TMWP) in Benguet Province were collared by police over the week.

Hilario Sannadan Balwog, 51, and a resident of Tanudan, Kalinga, categorized as a TMWP in the national level was arrested on January 19 in Long Long, Puguis, La Trinidad for murder.

The third most wanted person in the provincial level identified as Fritx Bitol Nazul, 23, of Puguis, La Trinidad was arrested last week for rape.

Arrjay Olita Daguio, 28, a native of Conner, Apayao and residing at Binloc, Bonuan, Dagupan City, who is the 10th most wanted was apprehended January 14 in Buguias, Benguet for violation of Section 10 of Republic Act (RA) 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law.

The top two and four wanted persons in the municipal level were arrested by Sablan and Buguias police. Arnold Jay Esteban Arocena, 33, native and a resident of General Natividad, Nueva Ecija was nabbed for two counts of acts of lasciviousness.

In Lamagan, Buguias joint tracker team of Buguias MPS, Benguet PMFC, PIB/PIDMB BPPO, La Trinidad MPS and RIU14 arrested Ryan Incio Mangalindan, 39, native of Urdaneta City, Pangasinan and presently staying at Lamagan, Abatan, Buguias for Violation of RA 9262 or the Anti-Violence against Women and Children Act.

Colonel Elmer Ragay, Benguet Provincial Police Office director, lauded the operating elements for the success of the operation and added that the arrest of wanted persons will serve as a warning that fugitives of the law have no place in the province.

“Benguet PPO will continue without let-up the campaign against wanted persons and will keep conducting manhunt operations to put criminals in jail,” Ragay said.
