WHO does not love a good massage after a long or stressful travel? Tourists coming to Davao City, even locals who are having a staycation, will now be able to enjoy a quality massage from the skilled hands of the therapists of Elysia Wellness Spa.

On January 11, 2019 the homegrown company, which is part of the Al-ag Group of Companies, dedicated its three hotel-based branches -- Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao, Grand Regal Hotel, and at the newly-opened Blue Lotus Hotel.

“Six years since we started, we are amazed by God’s manifestation of His love and grace. What a great way to start our 2020 for Elysia,” Cherry Faye Al-ag, Elysia Wellness Spa general manager, said during the dedication of their Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao branch,

With “hands that heal and hearts that care,” hotel guests will be able to enjoy Elysia Wellness Spa’s services -- Elysia Signature Massage, Elysia Filipino Massage, Elysia Dry Massage, Elysia Foot Massage, Elysia Swedish Massage (with Add-On options for Hot Stone, Ventosa/Cupping, and Bamboo), and Foot Care Package.

When it comes to its people, you can be assured that their therapists are equipped with the skills and will provide a quality service.

“Clients are handled by health professionals who are competent and holding proper qualifications to perform massage professionally. Elysia Massage Therapists are either Department of Health (DOH)-licensed, studying in a DOH-accredited Training Institution for licensure, or NC II holders on Massage Therapy and Hilot Massage from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda),” the company said in a statement.

Its therapists are also trained in international spa standards through the PUM Netherlands Senior Experts Program. It is also a recipient of the Certified Guest Service Professional, Certified Hospitality Supervisor training by the American Hotel and Lodging Association and the Filipino Brand of Service through the Department of Tourism (DOT).

On top of dedicating its three hotel-based branches, Al-ag said it will be an eventful 2020 for the company this year as they take on more risks and expand the business.

“We also begin our franchising journey and the release of Elysia Spa Essentials. Plus the establishing of the school, the AGC Skills Academy, in support of our growth and expansion,” she said.

Al-ag added, “We move forward by faith courageously that we shall be able to provide value in the lives of Dabawenyos.”
