OLIVIA V. Yanson (OVY), matriarch of the Yanson family, confirmed Wednesday, January 22, that President Rodrigo Duterte with some senators and cabinet secretaries are coming Thursday, January 23, for her 86th birthday at L’Fisher Hotel.
The members of the Presidential Security Group has already been in the city in preparation of the President’s arrival.
Duterte has been attending the Yanson family’s significant celebrations and sometimes even drops by at the Yanson’s Place in Barangay Bubog, Talisay City before going home to Davao.
OVY said she has personally invited the President and she would sit beside him during her birthday party Thursday.
She revealed that senators Christopher “Bong” Go, Ronald Dela Rosa, and Imee Marcos are also coming with the President.
OVY held an advance birthday celebration Wednesday with some members of the family, friends and some employees at her Talisay residence.
She said her birthday wish is to be always loving and giving and that she will continue with her charity works through her OVY Foundation for as long as she lives.
“This birthday is for everybody,” OVY added.
