CEBUANO Havaianaticos welcomed the opening of the first Havaianas store in Cebu at AyalaMalls Central Bloc in Cebu IT Park with a festive celebration last Dec. 7, 2019.
Havaianas Philippines managing director and founder Anne Gonzales, together with Leanne Florendo-Roa and Aimil Sarmiento of Havaianas Cebu cut the ribbon which opened the 11th Havaianas Store nationwide fully dedicated to celebrating summer all year round.
“Even when Havaianas first opened in the Philippines in the early 2000s, Cebu was already top of mind for us. It’s the warm, welcoming and fun-loving Cebuano spirit that always draws us to the islands,” shared Gonzales.
Apart from the buttery soft soles and stylish designs of the world’s favorite flip-flops brand, a wide array of accessories from beach bags, flip-floats, travel essentials, totes and more for women, men, kids and babies are in-store.
A tropical paradise with drumbeaters greeted guests while early birds received special gifts such as bamboo tumblers, notebooks and pins. To complete the Havaianas experience, Havaianaticos had the opportunity to purchase limited edition Rio pairs and personalize them with their pin of choice, while vignettes of their gift suggestions for BFFs, adventure buddies and cute tots were displayed in time for the season. Free gift wrapping was also made available through the help of Gawad Kalinga volunteers. (PR)
