THE Iloilo City Government has set up an Emergency Operations Center (EOC), a central command and control facility intended for emergency management, during Dinagyang 2020 celebration, which will cap on January 26.
The EOC is situated in the City Motorpool on Delgado Street.
Iloilo City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) head Donna Magno said preparedness measures have been put in place to make sure the safety of the public.
They hope for zero major incidents during the festivities.
Some 16 organizations have been tapped to deploy ambulance units and personnel to help in public safety, fire suppression, search and rescue, and emergency preparedness.
