Tourist bus to run in Iloilo City

THE Iloilo City Government acquired a 45-seater bus from Vallacar Transit Inc., operator of Ceres transport.

City Hall officials and Ilonggos expressed gratitude to president and CEO Leo Rey V. Yanson and company matriarch Olivia V. Yanson for the gift to the City of Love.

Company executives, including operation manager Edgar Casamayo, finance manager Frederick Villaflores and administrative manager Janice D. Original, turned over the vehicle at City Hall Thursday, January 23.

Mayor Jerry Treñas, Representative Julienne Baronda and city councilors thanked the firm's generosity and looked forward for more cooperation.

"This tourist bus will be used by our visitors to go to different destinations. We will also ask the schools to schedule the children to go around the city only," Treñas said. (PR)
