AT THE Moment: The Tales of Our City (Retold by the Youth), the 5th Annual Art Exhibit of the Baguio City National High School (Special Program in the Arts - literary, media and visual arts) was held last January 17 at the Baguio Museum.

The exhibit is about current happenings in our surroundings as expressed by the youth in paintings, photos, poetry in words unsaid and captured moments.

Creativity in sketches and sculptures were also evident of aspiring, young, local artists. With open eyes and freedom of expression, this is how the youth perceive our surroundings.

Kudos as well to all the mentors and benefactors headed by BCNHS Secondary Principal IV Brenda Cariño, and Francis Lumiwes (SPA coordinator); Performing Arts mentors Doris Rullan (Choir), Mary Ann dela Cruz (Dance), Ruthellen Sagsagap (Rondalla), Florel Acfiawen (Theater), Carmencita Juquiana (Band); Non Performing Arts mentors Estelito Mendoza, Roderick Ulep (Media Arts), Darryl Bosaing, Cherrie Malucay (Literary Arts English), Aisa Calabes (Literary Arts Filipino), Ben Ebanio Jr., and Jociel Naniong (Visual Arts).

Representing the Baguio Museum were Stella de Guia and Gemma Estolas. Among the special guests were Bumbo “Ben-Hur” Villanueva, Ged and Fei Alangui, Ev Espiritu, Ruel Bimuyag and their spouses.
