NU eyes fresh talents from NegOcc

WITH National University (NU) Bulldogs now under head coach Goldwyn Monteverde, the team is looking forward to end their UAAP title drought in the coming season.

And in order to achieve this goal, Monteverde and the entire Bulldogs are up in search of fresh talents from Negros Occidental - which they hope can help them in this quest.

With a successful program he had with his former schools until he took over the NU Bullpups, he is expected to bring the same kind of success to the collegiate level.

And, with their former star player Dave Ildefonso moving to another school, the team needs to fill-up a big spot which was left behind. However, Ildefonso’s departure will likewise open some opportunity for some Bulldogs and new recruits to grow in the league.

With NU opening its door to potential players in the provinces, more talents will get their chances to play in a much bigger and competitive arena.

And, tomorrow will be a huge opportunity for Negrense basketball talents to show wears and be scouted by one of the country’s top collegiate teams in the UAAP.

Interested players must be at the St. John’s North Point Campus (at the back of Ayala North District Mall) before 3PM, and be in basketball outfit.

Tryout in the high school division must be born 2007-2002 while born 2001-1998 for collegiate level. (JSG)
