THE 2K and 2K1 nabbed wins over their respective opponents in the Kuz Control Cup at the Ateneo de Cebu basketball courts last Friday, January 24, 2020.
2K nipped Drink & Ball, 62-61, in a hard-fought ballgame. In contrast, 2K1 barely broke a sweat in defeating the Buckets, 87-38.
RJ Acha led 2K with an all-around performance of 25 points, eight rebounds, three steals and two blocks while Albertnan Potencioso tallied a remarkable double-double of 16 points and 18 rebounds. The athletic forward also swatted away four shots.
Dansoy Montayre led Drink & Ball with 16 points, nine rebounds and six assists.
In the other game, JM Minoza paced 2K1 with 18 points and five assists while Erwin Ngo put up 13 markers and five boards in the very convincing win. (JNP)
