GETTING their wedding date at long last, Joel Jesper “JJ,” the only son of Mark and Emalyn Aliño, made his way through to the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral to meet his bride Berdynne Asela, the only daughter of Gil and Cherique Garcia.
Penciled in during the most festive season of the year, the big day was officiated by Rt. Rev. Msgr. Roberto Alesna P.A. and Fr. Shaun Aliño. The entourage line up are as follows:

Each bridesmaid was uniquely paired with two groomsmen namely Francis Alvez VI, Jaclyn Aliño and Bruce Ramirez, Ian Borromeo, Jan Aliño and Raj Sadhara, Rovie Colina, Janine Aliño and Francis Salimbangon, John Darza, Jane Chua and Michael Velasco, Christian Dunken, Jana Dizon and Allen Velayo, the bride’s only brother Vincent Garcia, Angeli Dinsay and Kenneth Yu, Merzal Perpetua, Arlene Merton and Kristoffer Zabate.
Taking part as the Secondary Sponsors were Jason Go and Joyce Darza for the candle, Philip Mendoza and Esperanza Estomata for the veil, Marvin Ursal and Pamela Ursal for the cord. Serving as the Ring Bearer was Harvey Kekert, the Bible Bearer was Daniel Garcia and the Coin Bearer was Nathan Garcia as well as Fiona Kekert, Finela Kittilstvedt and Lianna Reyes as the Flower Girls.
JJ was ever so smartly dressed in a suit by Philip Rodriguez and Berdynne in a stunning creation by Wendell Quisido. The couple opted for the Pacific Grand Ballroom of the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino for an afternoon cocktail event followed by the grand dinner party! Biggest congratulations to the newly-wed couple JJ and Berdynne for a long life of happiness together!
