Oil firms slash pump prices

MOTORISTS can expect lower pump prices of petroleum products as a fuel price rollback is set on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.

The estimated rollback for diesel, gasoline and kerosene is at P0.30-P0.40 per liter.

Petron will adjust its pump prices by P0.30 per liter for gasoline, P0.40 per liter for diesel and P0.35 per liter for kerosene.

Seaoil will decrease its prices by P0.30 per liter of gasoline, P0.40 per liter of diesel and P0.35 per liter of kerosene.

Shell will implement a P0.30 per liter rollback for gasoline. A reduction of P0.40 per liter and P0.35 per liter will also be implemented for diesel and kerosene.

PTT Philippines will decrease prices of gasoline by P0.30 per liter and P0.40 per liter for diesel.

Phoenix Petroleum Philippines will deacrease its prices with P0.40 per liter off its diesel products and P0.30 per liter off its gasoline products.

Total, meanwhile, said it will reduce the price per liter of its gasoline by P0.30 per liter and diesel by P0.40 per liter.

These rollbacks reflect developments in the international oil market. (JGS)
