I ADMIRE the courage of Judiel Niño Cane in coming forward to face the consequences of his actions.
He became viral on social media for using unauthorized siren on his way to school.
The boy said he was just being curious. He just recently attended a car show where car modifications are popular. He was late for school and made use of the siren so he could weave through traffic quicker.
Sadly for him, his actions caught the attention of netizens, who were quick to point out his wrong.
Cane apologized and admitted that what he did was wrong.
He surrendered to the Land Transportation Office Central Visayas and apologized for his deeds.
Despite the apology though, he will be paying a fine of P8,000 for reckless driving and for violation of Presidential Decree 96. I hope this serves as a lesson for young people out there as well.
