EIGHT years ago, I had my two front teeth veneered. A veneer is a layer of porcelain placed over a tooth to improve the aesthetics of a smile as well as protect the tooth from damage.

However, last Monday, January 27, one of my veneer fell off after eating a tough meat. Since I had a full schedule that day, I went to carry out all my planned tasks including putting this daily paper to bed. By the time I was done it was already almost ten in the evening.

But I had to have my tooth fixed as I was scheduled to attend a public forum in one of the universities the following day. My dental problem is especially a high priority for me since it involves my front tooth and I earn a living by giving lectures, presenting concepts, facilitating discussions and dealing with executives.

It was already an ordeal to survive the day with a missing front tooth, another day might cost me more than a few giggles from those who I am transacting business with. Good thing a friend referred me to a young dentist who was kind enough to open his clinic late night just so I could get my needed dental service.

I submitted myself to a dental crown procedure and in less than 12 hours I got a sparkling brand new smile.

I have been with so many dentists before as I am always on the road, but my recent experience with this young dentist left quite a mark. I could see just how passionate he is with his craft and with helping his clients get that needed smile even when it means dropping everything to attend to an urgent request. Not only did he restore my tooth at best possible condition (way better than the one that got detached), he also charged me very reasonably. I could not help but be grateful for such professionalism he extended to me.

And like any good dentist, he gave me tips on how to better take care of my teeth.

As a token of thanks and as a testament of how good he is at what he does, allow me then to endorse his dental services. He is Dr. Jed Ariel Legislador of Legislador Dental Care. He has two dental clinics in Bacolod, one is at the 2nd floor, Room 201 Rosario Doña Juliana Street at the corner of UCPB Libertad, while his other clinic is at 1st road, SSF Building, Fortunetown in Barangay Estefania just across the side entrance of SaveMore.

Indeed if one loves what he does, it radiates in his work ethics and consequently creates significant impact in the lives of those he serves. I am all respect for Dr. Jed who brought me back my smile as I navigate this City of Smiles.
