THREE drug personalities were arrested in a drug bust by operatives of Police Station 2 at Progreso Village 1, Barangay Vista Alegre, Bacolod City Monday evening, January 27.
Police identified the suspects as Roberto Cerillo, 39, of Barangay Vista Alegre; Choe Demerin, 29, and Jan Rey Pabon, 20, both residents of La Castellana.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, spokesperson of Bacolod City Police Office, said the suspects were arrested after they sold a sachet of shabu to a police undercover at about 9:10 p.m.
Police recovered from the suspects’ possession five sachets of shabu with estimated market value of P 40,000, the P300 marked money, and drug paraphernalia.
Pico said Cerillo was identified as street-level target and was included in the drug watchlist in Bacolod City. He was under surveillance for almost a month before his arrest along with his companions.
The suspects are detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 2 and are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
