USC graduate ranks 5th in Architect Licensure Examination

A GRADUATE from the University of San Carlos (USC) in Cebu City has made it to the top 10 in the Architect Licensure Examination given this January 2020.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Wednesday, January 29, that Charimae Dano Budiongan of USC ranked fifth with a rating of 82.60 percent.

Rhicel Gonzales Sapasap of Saint Louis University took the top spot with a rating of 84 percent.

In the top 10 are Megan Joyce Herrera Cruz of the University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman and Denzel Lance Leon Dantis of Mapua University-Manila who both ranked second with a rating of 83.20 percent; Karsten Aro Asuque of Adamson University, who placed third with 83 percent; Austin Carl Sugui Equipaje of the University of Santo Tomas (UST), who placed fourth with a rating of 82.90 percent; Jertz Ken Glinoga Brillon of UP-Diliman, who ranked sixth with 82.50 percent.

Also in the list are Jeremiah Cerdeña Jacobo of the Technological Institute of the Philippines-Quezon City and Krizia Mae Doming Marzan of Far Eastern University-Manila, who both placed seventh with 82 percent; Edith Joy Pialago Supat of Siliman University, who ranked eight with the average rating of 81.90 percent; Maria Regina Victoria Morada Polotan of UST, who placed ninth with 81.80 percent; and Jenny Ngala Diwayan of the University of Baguio, who ranked tenth with 81.70 percent.

The PRC announced that out of 2,229 who took the exam, only 1,242 passed. (JGS)
