The Tech Xperts advanced to the next round of the Metro Cebu Basketball League Rad Teamwear Cup playoffs after it dumped the Cebu Kingsmen, 106-90, at the City Sports Club-Cebu last Sunday, January 26, 2020.
Vhal Demae was unstoppable in that game as he put up a double-double performance of 41 points and 12 assists to go with five steals.
In other games, JCI Metro Cebu Uptown edged the Hotshots, 87-86, thanks to the efforts of Arnel Suan who tallied 24 points. The Scoregasm also triumphed over the Splash Bros, 75-48, as Mustafa Ali fired in 28 points.
TSO moved on with 91-81 victory over the AME, as Danilo Contardo had a fantastic ballgame with 34 points. Re-Ignite Hope advanced with a 112-87 rout of the Paneros with Eros Pilapil tallying 24 points, six rebounds and two assists.
Lite Ferry 88 booked their place in the next round with an 82-72 win over Liquid as Clifford Pardillo knocked in 20 markers. The Titans handily defeated the BBC, 113-74, as Denzel Sabroso registered 32 points.
Meanwhile, the RECJC Pension Spartans crushed the Chef Lumpia, 112-72, as Kendrick Lim led the way with 26 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and four steals. MDC Realty and Brokerage nipped the W&K Brothers, 117-113, with Emmanuel Villamor putting up 34 points and eight boards.
The Barracudas also got the best of the Black Mambas, 91-86, while the Freeasia Knights dumped Gulf War, 102-98.
