Abrigo: Keep safe

BOTH Quiboloy’s KOJC in Los Angeles, USA and the UCCP’s Haran in Davao are accused of unlawfully holding individuals believed to be cat's-paw to rake-in dollars.

Both also denied the allegations. The difference however according to the claims is that at KOJC the alleged victims are physically and psychologically abused if they fall short of the quotas; while in Haran, no such abuse was reported.

An old precept says, “When there is smoke there is fire”. So, the people behind these ministries or livelihood must be given a day in court to prove whether or not all smokes truly bespeaks fire.

In some ways, we can pardon the saying and help send these people back to their homes, dignified.

African Swine Flu (ASF) is reported in Davao Occidental. The virus is fatal to hogs in which if not contained, will surely affect the industry.

There are certain genes of pigs and rats that are often used in pharmacogenomics before the drug is certified and recommended fit for human. In short, what is not suitable for pigs and rats is also not suitable for human, of course with few exemptions.

Don’t get me wrong, to disagree that a swine contaminated with ASF is still safe for human consumption. I am not sure if the action to exterminate and bury contaminated hogs was carried-out only to protect the industry and not the consuming people. Because when wild animals are the purported source of the NCoV, ASF contaminated swine may also be the source of another virus harmful to human which may not have been discovered yet.

Anyway, the experts maintained, ASF contaminated swine is still safe for human consumption. Keep safe!
