A RETIRED United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent, a sought-after influencer and leadership coach from New Jersey, USA, and the current EDSA traffic chief of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) are the main resource speakers at a leadership training/workshop slated February 21 at the Lancaster Hotel in Mandaluyong City to address effective leadership and good governance.

This is a highly-recommended training and workshop for front-line corporate leaders, teachers, community leaders and those pursuing a career in public service or in any industry where one has a responsibility to lead and inspire.

The featured speakers at the event titled “Leadership 101 -- Achieving Your Leadership Potential in Today’s Society” are Dr. Stephen P. Cutler, a retired FBI officer and former legal attaché of the FBI to Manila; Chris Ward Jr., host of The Breakthrough Mentor podcast, a well-known mentor and influencer and leadership development coach in New Jersey; and Col. Edison “Bong” Nebrija (ret., Philippine Navy), who is currently MMDA Edsa Traffic chief and the face on social media of MMDA’s strict enforcement of traffic rules.

The three will present a broad range of topics from international corporate security to local public service and personal growth and development.

Cutler will discuss “responsible leadership.” He is now a director of Guide Meridian, a Philippine-based company that specializes in data collection. He is also chairman of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) and senior faculty and subject matter expert of La Guardia News, a team of professionals in the security and safety industries in the Philippines.

Ward will talk about “Finding the Servant Leader in You.” With years of experience in higher education administration and entrepreneurship in the state of New Jersey, he will teach how to own and launch the leadership blueprint.

Nebrija will speak on “Strengthening Our Sense of Nationalism Through Leadership Amidst the Nation’s Challenges." As MMDA Edsa traffic chief, he earned the moniker “Owner of Edsa.”

Over the past few years, La Guardia News Publishing has conducted several workshops, training and conferences all over the country, mostly on corporate and campus security, safety, disaster resilience and risk management.

This year, the organization will present leadership training not just for the security industry, but across all industries, as it aims to promote understanding of one’s leadership potential, developing and using it in both the corporate and/or public governance environments.
