Dedication to self-care

JOY is the highest form of health. One may experience extreme happiness but when one is ill because of health neglect, it surely elicits pain and sadness. The truth is that if one ignores health and dies because of self-neglect, it means no honor in dying, as one has abandoned his or her system enough to steal their energy to battle any disease.

There is no glory in neglecting one’s health. A man should learn self-care because it is a gift to oneself like a personal battery that recharges one’s human body, mind, and soul. Indeed, the difficulties in staying healthy lie within one’s self and it is true that it can be reflected from what the person eats. So, how do we eliminate sufferings from being ill because of eating unhealthy food?

1. Build healthy eating practices. People should know what they want, where they want to devote their energies and why. When health is missing, wisdom cannot reveal its art and intelligence cannot surface sucking one’s energies. But knowledge is not the only guarantee for people to stay healthy. Because many remain to eat too much fats and sugar and less vegetables even knowing its harming consequences.

2. Know that healthy eating is a learnable skill. No matter how one is used to eating unhealthy foods, one can bid goodbye to it if there are strong willingness and determination. Yes, the battle will not be easy but remember that to live life longer is to spend time more with your loved ones. And this is so endlessly delicious!

3. Begin by changing unhealthy eating practices to healthy ones. Awareness is not just enough to attain healthy living. It is changing one’s favorite foods’ perspectives by making healthy foods the favorites. Take note, that everyone is the writer, producer, and director of their lives – people own their minds, and so people decide what is right for themselves.

So, for all of you out there – do not destroy your bodies with deceiving and intoxicating foods that will kill you. Keep healthy and sound to live longer and spend precious time and valuable moments with your loved ones. Do not allow unhealthy eating habits to infest yourselves with serious illnesses.
