THE Association of Negros Producers (ANP) is banking on a new platform to further market its agriculture, food, natural and organic sectors.

Dubbed “Bugana a Weekend Harvest,” the organization has kicked off the exhibition at the Robinsons Place Bacolod on Friday.

“Bugana” is a hiligaynon word which means “bountiful.”

The ANP, in a statement, said the project is in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) and the mall.

The “Bugana a Weekend Harvest” will operate weekly, every Friday to Sunday at the Robinsons City Walk.

“The objective of the project is to help our micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as well as small holder farmers to showcase their produce and increase their income through this platform,” it added.

There were 10 members-exhibitors participating in the activity.

These are 2018 L Negros Inc., Alter Trade Philippines Inc., Kabankalan City Agriculture and Fisheries Council, Tableworth Inc., Ereneta-Manaloto Chorizo de Bacolod, T- flavors, JSA Sui Generis, Muybien Ventures Co.
