ABS-CBN actor Jericho Rosales will always stick to Kristine Hermosa as love team.
Jericho, who is doing a movie right now with the Mega daughter KC Concepcion, said in a television interview that what he and Tin shared on screen will never be replaced by a new TV pair-up.
Last week, Tin asked their followers to keep an open heart and mind on her and Echo's separate television projects and asks for continued support even though they are not on-screen together.
This was made after some fans were not so happy with Tin being built-up with off-screen partner Oyo Sotto.
When sought for his reaction, Echo said the fans don't have to worry because there will come a time when Tin and him will share again the limelight.
He added that working now with KC is different from the works he have done during the Echo-Tin love team.
“Yung Echo and KC, I don't see it as a love team eh, I see it as a new tandem na aabangan. Iba kasi pag sinabi mo sa Pilipinas na love team eh... parang ultimate na yun,” he said.
Jericho added that he is hoping for the same love and support from everyone.
“Kami ni Kristine, masasabi ko na sya yung love team ko tapos kami ni KC, its a fresh new pair on the screen and I really hope that they will support us.”
When asked on any update on his upcoming film with KC and her father Gabby Concepcion, the actor said that at first he is very nervous in shooting the movie.
“Noong una kinakabahan pa akong mag shoot pero nung nagshoot na kami looking forward na ako to our shooting days.”
Echo also said the air behind cam is very light and no dull moments. He is very thankful to be working with season director Mario J. de los Reyes.
“Its our first time na nakatrabaho ko sya and I think he's one of the coolest directors I've ever worked with and I'm so happy,” he said.
On her leading lady, Echo said they click on the set and she's very easy to work with.
“KC is also cute and enjoy kami dalawa sa mga scenes namin and very light. I feel good about the film, feeling ko nailalabas ko yung ibang kulit namin dito. Lahat ng eksena namin dito, natural yung kinakalabasan,” he said of KC.
Though their upcoming movie has no working title yet, many are waiting for its screening as this is the first movie of father-daughter tandem Gabby and KC on the big screen. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
