UPHOLDING the spirit of Bayanihan, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC) together with the Jiggy Manicad Learning Foundation recently went to the provinces of Batangas and Cavite to extend help to the families affected by the eruption of Taal Volcano.

The team brought food, drinking water and hygiene kits to over 1,600 families and 4,600 individuals in 10 evacuation areas.

As shared by Jiggy Manicad: “Our relief operations were able to reach interior areas where evacuation centers are located. These include Barangay Tres ICV and Adventist Elementary School both in Balayan, Batangas. Also, we noticed how relieved evacuees were when we had nebulizers with us for distribution. We hope to help more in the future.”

MMPC is honored to have collaborated with Manicad’s foundation and supports government efforts to assist affected areas of the Taal Volcano eruption. (PR)
