ANGELES CITY -- Aspiring regional rural banking industry champion, Bank of Florida (BOF), recently opened its newly relocated branch in Angeles City, Pampanga.

BOF chairman and president Teresa David-Carlo said the move is part of the bank's many initiatives to further improve the services being given to their customers.

"This is actually transferring of our old branch, which is formerly in the heritage district of this city since 2014. Recently, we realized that we need to refurbish our branch and align it to our branding, but we cannot do so because of the restrictions and regulations of the city," she said.

"So we decided to relocate here in T-Square Building, Sto. Rosario Street, in Sto. Domingo. We're really happy because here we have more ample parking space and it's also easily accessible. We always aim to provide convenience to our bankers," she added.

She assured that the banking institution is committed to improve its services as it expands its network in the countryside.

"We aspire to continue providing our customers family-like services all while exploring other opportunities to better their banking experience. Currently, we have 19 branches in Central Luzon: 17 in Pampanga, one in Bulacan and one in Tarlac, and we are coming up with more branches in the region soon," she said.

"We are more inspired than ever, after being recognized by the The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas last July 2019 for our consistency in prudential reporting innovation. It takes a lot of efforts and tears to receive such citation and it really motivates us to work harder in giving our customers valuable services that they truly deserve," she added.

She also said that she hopes more AngeleƱos will give BOF a chance to "share how we do business and how we treat clients as a family."
