‘Run for a cause’ alang sa mga iskolars himoon sa Pebrero 16

MGA organizers naglaum og 500 ngadto 1,000 ka partisipante sa unang Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Picpa) Run for a Cause nga manukad ug mahuman sa People's Park sa Davao City, Pebrero 16.

Si Picpa Davao's Devzon Porras, chairman sa ways and means committee, nagkanayon nga tumong nilang makatigum og pundo alang sa ilang iskolar.

Sigun ni Lord Eddie Aguilar "we are looking at three BSA (Bachelor of Science in Accountancy) student scholars na walang-wala jud ba pero naa miy qualifications (those who are financially hard up but we have set qualifications)."

"We have annual activity for our scholarship program but this is the first time we are holding a fun run. We already have several scholars over the past 10 years and five have graduated with four of them already CPAs (certified public accountants) and the other one is still reviewing for the CPA board exam," suma ni Aguilar atol sa Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum sa The Annex sa SM City Davao, Huwebes.

Samtang si Ross Luga, nagdugang nga buot sab nilang mohimo og fun run aron makatigum og pundo alang sa ilang scholarship program ug mapalambo pa ang pagsabot sa ilang target audience.

Niya, "Taking care of one's health though physical exercises such as running is also important."
