RENE Dalayon annexed the Metro Davao Bowlers Association (Metba-Davao) weekly tournament title after beating 16 other players at SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center on Wednesday evening, February 5, 2020.
Dalayon edged fellow 603 pinfalls scorer Paquito Santos due to his smaller handicap. Dalayon's handicap is 21 while Santos has 25. The latter placed second in the Metba-Davao instead to go home with P600 while champion Dalayon received P1,000 and earned a slot to the monthly finals.
William Galacio, for his part, finished third after hitting 571 pinfalls after three games. He got P300.
In the ladies division, Grace Consolacion captured the crown by rolling a total of 550 pins. She outclassed Berna Bangcaylan (497) and Mai Legazpi (473) who took the second and third spots, respectively. They received cash prizes of P400, P250 and P150.
