IN COLLABORATION with Diviners Org and The Gassho Center for Healing Arts, a two-day event (celebrating all things plant-based, promoting a healthier, more compassionate lifestyle toward animals and the overall environment) was hosted by Maayo Medical and Maayo Hotel—where the event was held: The first-ever Vegan OM Fest in Cebu.

Empowering people to live more conscious lifestyles, the wellness festival guest speakers were mindful individuals: Ojas Oneness, Windy Gancayco, Anne Dala, Cath Plaza, Moi Cimafranca, Neil Belen and Ayn Latonio. All shared more natural ways to heal yourself with positive vibes.

The event activities were a combination of visions and energy, such as health and wellness talks, workshops by experts, a cacao ceremony with meditation, yoga, dance (belly and free dance), capoeira, vegan cooking demonstration, martial arts as well as a mindful bazaar selling a variety of vegan products.

The list of vendors: Solti, Soul Sierra, Usana, 11:11 Crystals/Olivia’s, Liku, What’s Hot Shop, Positivity Cure, Healthy Baby, MARO, Chingkaling, Cebubuyog, Detox Bar, IRO, The Farmer and the Chef, Molinos de Especia, Halva, Wellnex Complex, Enagic, Zero Waste and V9 Dance Hub.

Enlightening the path through meditation, reiki, yoga, transforming arts, dance and other modalities as well as living healthily with a vegan and/or raw-food diet, Diviners Org was founded in India in 2014 by Ojas Oneness. The Gassho Center for Healing Arts, on the other hand, is an online resource and a community for energy healing sessions, workshops, retreats and information on plant based medicine, tarot and shamanic services founded by Windy Gancayco.

For love, compassion, meditation and healing—a special mention that the Gaia Center (206 Pres. Quezon St., Villa Aurora, Mabolo, Cebu City) will open its doors this month with a range of holistic services available.
