A 54-YEAR-OLD bachelor died after he was punched by a drunk man in Barangay El Pardo, Boljoon, Cebu around 6 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2020.
Police Corporal Sherwin Oyao of the Boljoon Police Station identified the fatality as Dionisio Dacay and the suspect as Alexis Albarado, 36, both neighbors in the area.
Oyao said to Superbalita Cebu that the victim went to a store owned by the suspect's sibling to buy some goods.
According to the report, Dacay was approached by a drunk Albarado then proceeded to punch him, causing the victim to fall to the ground.
Dacay was brought to a nearby hospital, however, he was declared dead on arrival. (BBT/JGS)
