ORIGINAL Filipino music (OPM) legends Rey Valera, Marco Sison, Hadjji Alejandro, Imelda Papin, her sisters Gloria and Aileen with her daughter Mafe, and the Super G band with the participation of the NBC Kampeon ng Bansa champion Garry Alositain held a concert on Saturday, February 9 at SMX Convention Center, SM Bacolod.

The concert was organized by engineer Abe Gilbor and his group that aimed to provide entertainment to the locals especially the fans of the music icons.

The locals have indeed enjoyed watching the popular artists perform live on stage and many have in fact expressed their admiration and appreciation to the extraordinary talents of the OPM legends and their local contemporaries.

Music is indeed important to one’s life and given the fact that those were sung by popular personalities, it made the crowd truly in a celebratory climate.

Hit songs sung by the Mabuhay singers and hit songs in the ‘60s and ‘70s fastened the crowd to elation.

Engineer Gilboa is also a music lover himself and these music idols and songs continue to fascinate him, his family and his circle of friends and business partners.

The crowd has positively celebrated that moment and even sang their favorite songs while seated.

Gilbor thanked those who supported the concert saying that, “it is his own way of continuously supporting the Filipino artists up to this period.”
