A JOBLESS man was arrested in a joint drug bust conducted in Malitbog, Southern Leyte Tuesday, February 11.
Police identified the suspect as Revi Rubar Balberona, 35, single, a resident of Malitbog town.
He was nabbed around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Barangay San Roque after a poseur buyer was able to buy one plastic sachet of white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.
Recovered from the suspect were a P500 bill used as buy-bust money and five sachets of shabu placed in a matchbox, police said.
The suspect will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. (SunStar Philippines)
