Family pet show

THEY may not speak our language, but our furry friends can give us love similar to a family member with their cuddles, tail wiggles, and belly rubs.

Pampered and as stars of the Family Pet Show last Sunday at Gaisano City Gate in Buhangin, Davao City, dozens of pets together with their loving families packed the area for a one-day pawsome show.

Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, pigeons, and many more took center stage for the pet fashion show bannering their colorful costumes and lovely owners, while disciplined pets showcased their skills during the talent show.

Family Pet Show Event Organizer Malaya Relacion said staging is a way of giving family pets importance being part of a family.

"We believe that our pets are God's creation and they are our family too," Relacion said.

It was not just a day of pets with their owners but rather, it was a family picnic inside a mall.

Awards and special citations were given to different organizations who brought with them their loving pets.

It was a Sunday that pets and their companions will never forget with all the love and treat making pawsome friends the star of the family day.
