A collector of a lending company was held up while doing the collection at Sitio Overflow, Brgy. Maricalum, Sipalay City on February 13.
The victim was identified as Reynaldo Fabillar, 26 years old, married, collector of Cauvan Credit Services (CCS) Lending Corp. with office address at Brgy. Culipapa, Hinoba-an.
Investigation of the Sipalay City Police Station showed that while the victim was standing at the place of incident beside the road after collecting money from a client, two unidentified male persons accosted him, one describe as more or less 5’6” in height, medium size, wearing grey Jacket, black helmet and maong pants while his companion was wearing blue jacket, maong pants and was also wearing helmet.
One of suspects pointed to him a revolver while declaring a hold up and took away his collection money amounting to P7,500 and carted away his motorcycle owned by the Cauvan Credit Services (CCS) Lending Corp heading to Hinoba-an.
The other suspect on the other hand also fled using his motorcycle.
Sipalay City Police Station is still conducting thorough investigation for the possible identity of the suspect for hot pursuit operation and recovery of the aforementioned items.
Meanwhile a 54 –year-old resident of Barangay Bandila, Toboso was wounded after he was shot for refusing to have a drink in Barangay RSB, La Carlota City on February 13.
The victim was identified as Nestor Tomala, truck driver, while the suspect was identified as
Ernesto Sayco, 62 years old, male, married, also a truck driver and resident of Brgy Mailum, Bago City.
Based on police report, a shooting incident transpired when the victim refused to have a drinking session with the suspect.
The victim sustained gunshot wound on the side of his left thigh and was rushed to Don Salvador Benedicto Memorial District Hospital but was later referred to a hospital in Bacolod City.
The suspect on the other hand was placed under the custody of La Carlota City Police Station for proper disposition.
