POLICE have launched a manhunt to arrest two people who killed a septuagenarian farmer over a discussion about religion in Pagadian City.

Object of the police manhunt are Rudy Mandao and his brother, Peter, both residents of Tulawas village, Pagadian City.

The police said the two allegedly hacked to death Domingo Curuana, 65, a farmer and also a resident of Tulawas village.

Investigation showed that the Mandao brothers became furious and hacked Curuana at the height of a discussion last Monday concerning a particular religion.

Appropriate charges have been filed against the Mandao brothers who went into hiding after the incident, the police reported. (Bong Garcia)
