TRUE. Some people make the difference. Christmas is the best time to remember them. The best gift one gets is the gesture of appreciation given by friends and peers.

Sally de los Reyes de las Peñas and children, especially Joen, were very supportive of many events in tourism and Speechcom programs. Their branded shirts colored many of my projects.

Bobit and Jessica Avila are old friends, and we did so many projects together.

Jessica was my partner in many tourism and travel projects, mostly in Women in Travel, Department of Tourism 7 with Dawnie Roa, and in many events in the Academe.

Bobit introduced me to Cenewof (Cebu Newspaper Workers Foundation) where I became a board member. His multi-awarded show “Straight from the Sky” and MyTV were effective channels where I widened the information networking of my projects in Zonta 1, Speechcom, University of San Jose-Recoletos (where Bobit is an alumnus), among so many others.

I missed the relaunch of the MyTV logo but told Bobit I will continue supporting his programs. Bobit’s late mother, Inday, was a loyal Zontian, and we worked together in our projects in the Ermita Day Care Center.
