Cervantes: Very recent prophecies on the Warning

WITH the devotion to the Divine Mercy being officially approved and promoted by the Church, who would doubt the prophecies revealed to St. Faustina Kowalska, through whom Our Lord Jesus entrusted the promotion of popular devotion?

Again, I'd like to repeat what Jesus had told St. Faustina (1905-1938): “Write this: before I come as the Just Judge, I come as the King of Mercy. Before the day of justice arrives, this sign in the sky will be given to mankind. All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be great darkness over the whole earth. Then the sign of the Cross will be seen in the sky, and from the holes where the hands and the feet of the Savior were nailed will come forth a brilliant light, which will illuminate the Earth for a period of time. This will take place shortly before the last day.”

St. Faustina of Poland was also told by Jesus that it would be from her country that would come the “spark” that would prepare for His coming. That spark is believed to have been Polish St. Pope John Paul II, the first non-Italian pope in 400 years, who later canonized her and advanced the Divine Mercy devotion.

Many prophecies about the Warning, at times referred to by authors as Illumination of Conscience, have indeed been recent. St. Pope Paul VI, who decreed the abolition of some 400 books in the Church’s Index Librorum Prohibitorum, which had included the writings of St. Faustina (not to mention those of Maria Valtorta which I plan to dwell on in my later columns).

St. Pope Paul VI (1897-1978) said: “The maturity of conscience, most difficult to evaluate today, is the discernment between evil and good. Humanity has performed so many evil deeds that its conscience is now darkened by sin. We will need a terrible warning, and many will refuse to listen—a terrible warning. Most people will not give ear to it, but it will be essential to replace the moral order. Many have lived as they freely desire under the gaze of Our God; but this judgment will be a direct intervention—at the same time, with His tenderness—and they will be forced to recognize their sin and to separate their sin from their goodness. This time, the sin of the world will be revealed.”

Then again to mystic Elizabeth Kindelmann of Hungary (1913-1985) was told by our Blessed Mother: “My Flame of Love is burning. It is so great that I cannot keep it any longer within me. It leaps out to you with explosive power. When it pours out, my love will destroy the satanic hatred that contaminates the world. The greatest number of souls will be set free. Nothing like this has existed before. This is my greatest miracle that I will do for all... No need for this miracle to be authenticated. I will authenticate the miracle in each soul. All will recognize the outpouring of the Flame of Love.”

Commented Fr. Stafano Gobbi (1930-2011): “What will come to pass is something so very great that it will exceed anything that has taken place since the beginning of the world. It will be like a judgment in miniature, and each one will see his own life and all he has done, in the very light of God.”

Again, Australian businessman and myscit Matthew Kelly had this to add, quoting God the Father: “The Mini-Judgment is a reality. People no longer realize that they offend Me. Out of My infinite mercy, I will provide a Mini-Judgment. It will be painful, very painful, but short. You will see your sins; you will see how much you offend Me, every day.

I know that you think this sounds like a very good thing, but unfortunately even this won’t bring the whole world into My love. Some people will turn even further away from Me; they will be proud and stubborn. Satan is working hard against Me. Poor souls, all of you, robbed of the knowledge of My love. Be ready for this judgment of Mine. Judgment is the best word you humans have to describe it, but it will be more like this: you will see your own personal darkness contrasted against the pure light of My love.” (Of course, more in the next column)
