The fire started February 11 at Adaoay Village in Kabayan town and reached as far as Anchokey Village. The fire was controlled Saturday, however, fire started anew and was controlled on Monday.

Meanwhile, the cause of fire remain under investigation.

He noted challenges encountered in putting off the fire include the lack of personnel, unfavorable weather and the town’s terrain which entails two hours trek to reach site.
